Here is my pack "Blocks 3D effect" in which I added a 3D effect to each block. A very long work, but personally rewarding.
I also worked on armor, boats, wagons, chests, the explosion model. I added emissive on tools and swords
The 3D effect works without shaders, without normal maps and is permanent. However, I have yet added normal and specular maps for even more realism.
The pack contains additional variants for ores, plants and fungi. Additional packs are available on curseforge for each of them. Optifine is recommended for Blocks 3D effect, to take advantage of additional variants

Maybe the mod ThonkUtil won’t recognize the extra block patterns, so you’ll have black and purple textures. We need to reset the default blockstates for each of them.
Open the pack with Winrar,
Go to the assets/minecraft/blockstates_correcting_ThonkUtil folder
Copy all files from the folder
Paste them into the assets/minecraft/blockstates folder.
This will remove all additional templates. Backup the blockstates folder, to reactivate all additional templates!

If you don't use shaders, you will have the same result as on the primary picture. But with the shader + the PBR it's beautiful more!
There I just tried again this 25/2023 at 8:00, no problem on my pc; on my iphone "bad link" with the black curseforge interface; no problems with my iphone on the old white curseforge interface.
It is white and hardly visible to those who do not know.
