I had this idea last night, actually! in the next update, you'll see purple roses (alliums), yellow roses (Dandelions), and black roses (Wither roses).

Maybe change the blue orchid to the cyan rose instead, as the colors line up better. Putting a cyan rose into a crafting table shouldn't give you a darker blue dye!

You make a good point, but I want the cyan rose to be more accessible than a blue orchid, especially for people who don't like farms.

Swamps aren't that hard to find. You can find one within around 1,500 blocks from spawn easily.

As far as I am aware, blue orchids are not as renewable as cornflowers, and that's the main reason I didn't do it.

Blue Orchids are probably even more farmable than cornflowers, as only 1 type of flower can grow in a swamp (being the blue orchid), and 4 or 5 grow in plains (poppies, dandelions, cornflowers, azure bluets, and lilies of the valley). This means that you will get blue orchids more than cornflowers through bonemeal.
