This pack replaces all the villager vocalizations with some actual audio work, voiced by me, and altered so it's not me listening to me every trip to the trading hall. After watching Grian play with a pack that replaced the villager voices, and wanting to get into building resource and data packs for the game, I put this together.

It's very definitely a "Version 1" resource pack at this juncture. My first concern was to make sure I could get this to work - which it does. Next version will be a little better scripted, a few more than two quick takes, and some more subtle changes to the voice pitch and tone.

The new v1.0.3 is a minor update to get 1.18 to recognize the resource pack as current.

Can you make a resource pack that turns the villager grunts into the one from Element Animation? Amazing mod by the way

This was something I put together for my server and just wanted to share if anyone was interested. It's surprisingly easy to adapt if you have a template to work off of. You can always fork the GitHub repo, and replace the audio files with the desired replacements. You just need to make sure the file names stay the same.

The hardest part of putting these together was finding what to name the audio files and where to put them...

I'm not familiar with Juice world, or the related songs. Are they public domain (or at least under a more flexible copyright)? While I do want to try my hand at the music disks at some point, it was going to be with either original music or something out of the public domain.

Juice World is a rapper, and I'm sure his music is very intensely copyrighted. That being said (as far as I know) planetminecraft doesn't provide any sort of monetization for submitted work so it shouldn't cause any issues as long as due credit is given.

Ah. It's most likely copyrighted, so not something I want to get into. That's more than half the reason I used my own voice and did the recording myself. (still need to get some cleaner audio recorded, and update the pack.mcmeta so 1.16 recognizes it correctly... moving soon so not likely to happen in the next few weeks)
