nope, they actually can't climb AT ALL (also like silverfishes as they lack the leg parts to do so) and prefer to stay around cold and moist areas since they also eat mold (in which mold can cause noxious fumes to us when to much is present in our homes, so in a way they're good "pests").

ok I need to rephrase then with more data: They lack any specialized claws to hang from walls and ceilings like flies and spiders, but still can climb up rough terrain like concrete or cloths if there's enough place for them to fit their legs in to hoist themselves up.



but if you were to put them in a plastic or metal bowl (or any smooth surface) they'd be stuck in there.
