Not in any way! Unless png files are a virus to you.

The only way it could POSSIBLY be a virus is because of the .mcmeta files in which allow animations.

you simply go into your

%appdata%
then look for minecraft.
then texture packs then you copy past or extract I forget
then you look into the game in the resource pack area which should show this pack then you move that into the rightest part of the screen and that's it have fun .
