(WARNING: I do not own the connected diamond-block texture, so I will not be sharing it to respect the creator.)
I've been trying to figure out how to create an animated connected texture pack. I am currently trying to just add a glimmer to diamond blocks that also have a connected texture.
The folder is like this:
minecraft/optifine/ctm/diamond_block
I have a total of 47 images because I am working on 1.12.2 and am using the old method. I have a diamond_block.properties in the diamond_block file like this:
matchTiles=diamond_block.png
method=ctm
tiles=0-46
I currently only have Tile 0 with the glistening texture. Tile 0 is a 16x288pixels image with a simple white line that starts to run across the diamond block texture at frame 1 as frame 0 is the default start for Minecraft animated blocks. Would I title the .png.mcmeta as 0.png.mcmeta and then put it into the diamond_block file or does it go out of the diamond_block file into the ctm file? Also, this is the code I have inside the .png.mcmeta:

Also, please feel free to tell me if I coded something wrong as that might help me figure out why the animation might not be playing and I am getting the error block.
Also, I'm sorry, but I wouldn't be any help with making it animated, you should ask in the Optifine Discord server for that.
