GatKong and Tfin's GatPack Resource Pack

This texture pack has been around since the days of alpha, updating over the years, shared for the first time on Planet Minecraft 29 Sept 2018.

This iteration is:
* Minecraft version: 1.18+
* Resource pack_format: 8
* GatPack version 8.0

This texture-resource-pack does not require Optifine, although Optifine is required to take advantage of the GatPack's connected and emissive textures.

The pack tries to be true to the default textures while animating that which shouldn't be static, bringing to life what looks best in 3D, illuminating what shouldn't be dark, connecting what shouldn't be a grid , along with a few other visual and text enhancements.

Some US English language text upgrades included in this pack:
—Selecting any food item will display how much hunger it satisfies, how much health can be healed by it (saturation), and any other special abilities that particular food may offer (such as poison, hunger, nausea, teleportation, etc).
—Some minor corrections to item names and descriptions. For example... spruce leaves? C'mon. Spruce trees have needles, not leaves. (FTFY, Mojang ;)

Gat, Can you make a 1.8 version of gat pack, I really like the textures and it also looks cool for pvp and the glowing ores is good for uhc games

Hey! Loving the pack and everything about it, but i cant seem to get the emmisive (Light up parts) to work. I am running on 1.15.2 Optifine, and have even tried making a room out of black concrete, so no light gets through. Do I have to be running a shaderpack or something? Thanks for any help in advance (:

It’s Optifine 1.15.2pre13that doesn’t yet support emissive textures. HOPEFULLY the final Optifine 1.15.2 comes out soon so we can bask in all the emissive glory 🥳

I downloaded the latest version of the pack because it looks really great! Unfortenately I cannot run it. When I load the resourcepack in 1.14.4 or in the Optifine 1.14.4 version, the game crashes with a fatal error. I updates the drivers of my graphics but that didn't help. I have 4 Gb of memory dedicated to Minecraft. Could it be that my Intel integrated graphics card is not up to this?
