ever think that the iron golem doesn't fit with the iron palette? what if i reversed that and said that IRON doesn't fit with the GOLEM's palette?????

Other than that unfinished bit, items crafted with iron are
Basically using iron textures so should probably be changed: Flint and steel, Shear sand Pistons
Could work with golem iron: Crossbow, Stonecutter, Minecart, Tripwire hook and Blast furnace
Would probably not be a good design idea: Cauldron, Anvil, Chain (and Lanterns that use iron nuggets), Smithing table and the Hopper
