There are many people who play Minecraft who are colorblind.
Despite this there aren't any options inside of Minecraft to help these people distinguish items in game clearly outside of using things like the F3 menu. This resource pack seeks to remedy that by providing a set of textures that clearly show differences between blocks and items that are often mixed up visually by colorblind people who play the game. This is done through a variety of techniques such as increasing contrast, changing the base color of a block to make it more different from similar ones, or adding a obvious label to things such as the different color wool and terracotta blocks.
Disclaimer - I the creator of this resource pack am not personally color blind. I do, however, use a variety of tools and web services (along with some beta testing through my colorblind roommate) to determine what blocks and items need changing and if the changes I make are sufficient enough to make things more clear to other people.
This pack is not finished and may not be for a while but I fully intend on finishing it in one way or another because I started making this as a promise to my roommate. If you have any suggestions on how I should make things better in future updates of this pack please feel free to message me on my Discord at: Neon Lilith#8559 or here on Planet Minecraft.
Features -
-Several updated textures that are true to the vanilla game style.
-Unique textures for blocks such as the different ores to add a distinct look that you can pick out at just a glance.
-Labeled colored blocks such as wool and terracotta so that they can easily be differentiated in the inventory menu or in game.
-Adjusted colors for armor to distinguish each set.
-Unique dye shapes
