This is an Add-On extension meant by default for the Ornate 5 Re-resurrected resource pack made by me (Babbajagga).
It will work with any other pack as well. But make sure to use MCPatcher (recommended).

Adding MCPatcher extended Aesthetics support like Lightmaps, Custom Color Palettes, BetterSkies.
Also includes all extra animations for blocks and items not contained in the Ornate Core pack + currently holds some CTM files too.


HOW TO USE
  1. place the downloaded .zip file into the resource pack folder within ".../.minecraft"
  2. in game, move the pack atop of any current packs
  3. hit Done, the game should become a nicer place to play in ;-)


You NEED to use MCPAtcher for this addon to work.
I am not sure if OptiFine will work correctly with this Addon.

Hi again! Ithis add on makes everything look great except for the oak trees that I transplanted into my desert biome. (now they have a blueish color canopy) I would perfer the dried out look over the new color for them currently. (I kept it downloaded but it is currently disabled due to effect on desert biome trees)

Oh, blueish you say? That is most probably an unintended bug, I tried to make the vegetation in the dry biomes, well... dried out, so I gonna check this out and report back when I'm done ;)

Smoother lighting, erhm? O_o I guess No.
For smoother lighting there is an option in game menu. This has nothing to do with it.

The addon adds custom sky/fog colors to different biomes, adds a custom torch/fire colors, different shadow map, it affects how some blocks appear in various biomes (in terms of color) - ie. Sand has a volcanic gray appearence in Extreme Hills, while in Forest it is more dirty brownish, in beach it is near white, desert is yellow, etc.
