A couple weeks ago, I was inspired by FORGS, and so I made a resource pack to replace Bats in Minecraft with Moths. At the time, there was only one variant of moth, and since, I’ve gotten a lot of people sad they couldn’t have bats as well: worry no more, MOTHSv3 is here.

Introducing 6 new types of moths, as well as compatibility with optifine’s randomized mobs, you can now play with 1 of 7 moth types in Vanilla, all 7 with optifine, or even include bats in that mix.
The Moth Roster (Mothster?) is now: Cinnabar Moths, (the original) Emperor Gum Moths, Garden Tiger Moths, Death’s Head Moths, Luna Moths, Nine-Spotted Moths, and Satin Moths.
To reiterate:
The individual moth packs below are 100% vanilla, and act as individual resource packs. The Assorted mob packs require optifine, but allow for all moths to be present rather than just a single one. Each link leads to a pack, though the link provided to the folder contains all packs.

*Open the pack file
*Open the pack.mcmeta file with notepad or something similar to it.
*Change the file format from whatever it was to the version you're playing on! (Ex. 1.18 would be 8, 1.19 would be 9)
*Save it and you're done!
