This addon brings a netherite trident to your game and it works properly without Optifine.
However, if Optifine is in use, parts of the trident will glow in the dark.
It's not any different from a regular trident, but hey, it's aesthetically pleasing, and therefore really nice to have in your Minecraft world :)
Do note that this is a 64x texture addon, so a 64x base texture pack is recommended.
Otherwise, the hyperdetailed trident would look out of place.
I personally use Faithful 64x, which is what inspired me to make a high-quality trident skin originally.

Installation
1. Put this .zip file into your "resourcepacks" folder. DO NOT UNZIP IT.
2. Load up Minecraft and go to the resource pack options.
3. Find this pack, hover above it and press the arrow
4. It should now be at the top, above all your other texture packs
And that's all!

You're not allowed to claim this pack as your own in any way, or use it for commercial purposes. The only exception is for monetized Youtube videos. However, modifications for personal use are allowed!
