What's Optimum Realism?
Optimum Realism is a realistically themed resource pack meant to aim a perfect balance between performance and quality.
Optimum Realism is made by Atmosphere Of Tech for Minecraft Java Edition.

When does the next update for Optimum Realism come?
Optimum Realism is basically developed into interpretations/releases.
The first release was Optimum Realism i1.0, this is the Optimum Realism i1.1.
Each release has a beta stage which is available exclusively to patrons.'
This stage is called the Optimum Realism BETA or O.R.B for short.
The next update for Optimum Realism i1.2 will likely come after 1-4 months.

Is Optimum Realism free?
Yes, partially, the 128x version is free for everyone to use, the 512x and 2048x are patron exclusive only.
You even receive some work in progress editions when you subscribe to a higher tier!

Which shaders are best to use with Optimum Realism?
The following shader are recommended to play with Optimum Realism:
  • Kappa
  • BSL
  • Fraction
    Additionally you can try SEUS PTGI too, but some of the blocks may not be "up-to-the-mark"
Make sure you enable POM on all these shaders, decrease the pom distance on BSL to a little lower.

Minecraft has a limited atlas size, all my textures were at the starting available on 4k, now this was okay as I did not have many textures on it, but now it has many new blocks and as a result, the atlas size was crossed which to be short means the textures wouldn't load and even to run 4k texture you need a minimum of 16GB of ram. Thus, I had to make all of it 2048x so I could keep adding more textures and there's not a very big visual difference, there's a difference but it's not much. Currently, you can find the 2048x textures on my Patreon exclusively only and 128x is available publicly. 2048x is the highest you can download, also they're many models in the resource pack too.
