Optimum Realism R9 Ultra-Realistic HDR 1024x Minecraft Texture Pack
Optimum Realism 2048x Minecraft Texture Pack

What's Optimum Realism?

Optimum Realism is a realistically themed resource pack meant to aim a perfect balance between performance and quality.
I'm not trying to make the Minecraft blocks realistic, I'm trying to replace them with their real-life counterparts itself.

Is it free?
Yes, it is partially. The demo 128x version of Optimum Realism is for free. 512x and 2048x are patron-exclusive only.
You will also receive work-in-progress updates when you join a higher tier!

What are these releases?
Each update of Optimum Realism is a release. basically a new version of it. Each release has a beta stage which is available exclusively to patrons.
The next major update is likely to come after 1-4 months approximately but it all depends on how many things I can add.

What are the best shaders to use it with?
Personally, I'd suggest to use Kappa 4.0 or SEUS PTGI.

Some of the key features:
  • The diversity between the intensity of sticks and leaves on the grass block
  • Sometimes in the jungle biome, grass will have bananas on them.
  • Blocks are not only realistic, they are literally meant to be real-life blocks not just realistically themed Minecraft blocks
  • Optimum Realism focuses more on indoors rather than outdoors which means the textures are less but the quality is extreme.
  • And much more left for you to explore.

What are the minimum requirements?

Optimum Realism will run fine on a decent gaming computer. You don't require an RTX card to run the resource pack. Anything like a GTX 1080 would be fine to run the 512x and 2048x variants of the resource pack. I'd recommend a pc that has a minimum of 8GB ram on it to run the resource pack without lag spikes.

Screenshots are clicked on 2048x.

hey could you release a SEUS PTGI config file, i cant get my metal blocks to look shiny without the texture erroring and showing miscellaneous item or block textures in each pixel
