I created this pack for myself because all the other "ore outline" packs were not good enough for me. Most were created without any effort.
I rearranged the ores on the textures so they would no longer hit the outlines. This creates a much more polished look.
And the biggest thing I added is connected texture support if you have OptiFine.

You can get the latest OptiFine by going to their websites download page and clicking "Preview versions" to show the prereleases for the latest version of Minecraft.

hi! i have a problem, i put the file in the resourcepacks folder, like others packs that i use, but in-game, it doesn't detected by minecraft, what can i do? or maybe i miss some step, sorry if my english isn't clear, it's not my native language :c

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I assume you have already restarted your Minecraft by now and if that has not worked that I am afraid I don't know what to do to make it work. It should work like any other resource pack.

really cool, but i have a question, how did you do this? i've been trying to make a texture pack with connected textures, but can't find a tutorial. can you either explain how you did it or show me a tutorial please? it would be a big help.

Hello, I used this video to figure out how the connected textures work. https://youtu.be/DrSZ5sNMUJM?t=962. I timestamped it to the part where he talks about the way I did it. Basically you need to create 5 textures for each block. Optifine will then mix those textures together for every orientation possible. This is called ctm-compact. The video will explain the folder hierarchie in your resource pack and the extra file needed in that folder for optifine to recognize the textures.

You can also look inside my resource pack and reverse engineer it to maybe get a better understanding.

I Love it! I modified it a little bit so it is brighter and easier to spot but other than that it is perfect.
