Hi everywhere! It's Amzahr again, and I am here with a new resource pack! This pack is a 16x16 RPG Pixel Graphic Gaming inspired take to the vanilla minecraft resources. Terms of Use (Please Read Before Using)
**NOTICE**
I will no longer be updating 1.12 and below. It is too much work on my end, I will leave the downloads up but I will probably not update them except for major issues.
PROJECT STATUS: 1.19+ and 22w42a Snapshot RELEASED!!
Note: This is the only official download of Pixagraph, if you are download this resource pack through different means than Modrinth, it is not an official download. IMPORTANT UPDATE: AN HONEST DISCUSSION ABOUT THE FUTURE OF PIXAGRAPH
An Honest Discussion about the future of Pixagraph
As
many who follow me have probably noticed the updates on Pixagraph have
nearly slowed to a halt, when they used to be shortly after snapshots
were released. Many factors play into this. I want to share the reasons
of why.
Originally I started working on Pixagraph the summer
between high school and college. Which was in 2017. It was a hobby I
never expected to blow up nearly as much as it did. It's 2023 now, I
have graduated from collage, have a full time job now, I am engaged,
have legally changed my name and gender markers, I've moved to a
completely different state etc, etc etc.
However, the biggest
set back on updating the pack has been artistic vision. As previously
mentioned I started this when I was basically fresh out of high school. I
studied in art and have a BFA now. My artistic style and knowledge has
changed so much. When I open Pixagraph now I run into the issue of
having to us a much more amateur art style that is frankly, kind of
difficult for me to force nowadays. I've thought about retexturing stuff
but then that requires cleaning up the pack all the way back to 1.13.
Which is simply something I do not have the time or energy for.
What
does this mean? I am going to be officially retiring Pixagraph, it will
still be up for download and everything but will not be updated passed
it's current version. That does not mean I am retiring myself. In fact
far from it!! I am actually currently working on a spiritual successor
to Pixagraph that fits my current style. This is a sneak peak at it.
Thank you everyone for this wonderful trip and I hope you enjoy what is
something!
