im a bit confused it says this is compatible with 1.17 but the file says 1.13 and it also says the the last time this file was updated was december 6th of last year.

im just i bit confused on this because i've seen stuff like this before and it lead to a lot of texture pack files being deleted.

It works in all versions past 1.13, which is indicated by the "+".
Usually, updates don't break such simple resourcepacks.
