How to install the resource pack, the right way
1. Download the pack using either of the buttons above.
2. Press [Windows Key] + [R]
3. In the box, type '%appdata% and hit enter.
4. Navigate to the '.minecraft' folder.
5. Then the folder named 'resourcepacks'
6. Download WinRAR using the instruction from the website.
7. Drag or copy/paste the zip resource pack into the '.minecraft' folder.
8. Click 'Extract files...'
9. Make sure the destination is the '.minecraft' inside a folder with a name of your choice.
And once it finishes extracting, the resource pack is installed.
To apply it, go into Minecraft Java Edition 1.8.9, then Settings --> Resource Packs --> then hover over the pack, click the big arrow, then click 'Done'. The textures are then applied.

Troubleshooting Tips:
Is the pack not showing up in your resourcepacks folder? Follow these tips to make sure it will work.
1. Restart your game. Maybe something minecraft is currently doing is messing things up?
2. Press [F3] + [T] while not on in any menu. This hotkey will reload all resource packs and the folder too.
3. Make sure your pack is not 2 layers deep in folders. Example: ../.minecraft/resourcepacks/(Slightly) Faithful 16x/(Slightly) Faithful 16x/...
4. Is the pack extracted? Sometimes this is the issue. If so, follow the WinRAR installation instructions in the Installation tab, the extract the folder not using the file structure above, then reload your../resourcepacks/.. folder.
