Well hello. This Christmas themed Minecraft resource pack adds 23 Christmas tree decorations. It won't overwrite any default Minecraft items, apart from the diamond hoe. (I mean come on, diamond hoe?? better donate the diamonds to a poor village)
To get the decorations, use this:

/give @s diamond_hoe{Damage:0}
"0" is an example. Put any number from 0 to 22, each gives a different decoration. Put the items in item frames, to make it look like they hang. Hide the frames with this:

/execute as @e[​type=item_frame,distance=..5] run data merge entity @s {Invisible:1}

This will hide all frames in a 5 block radius. Being the said intellectual, you know what to change for a bigger radius. .__.

Some additional features:

In the latest update, 5 presents were added.


- oak leaves are changed to custom 3D Christmas tree leaves with colorful lights. With OptiFine, they will shine in the dark (because you know, they're lights)
- the redstone torch is a star for you to put on top of your tree. I suggest putting a fence below it as Minecraft doesn't allow you to place torches directly on leaves.

If you use OptiFine you will also see a different color scheme for the Mojang loading screen.
