HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: Use the "Improved Leaves & Foliage" addon I created for the bushy leaves, some cattails, lilypad variants, and algae!

Please use Optifine (not required)! Make sure Connected Textures and Alternate Blocks are on. This resource pack works for all versions above 1.13+, currently completely supported for 1.16.

I also currently need better screenshots. Send some my way and I'll probably put them up here! These pics are fairly outdated. Send them over at my discord!

Here's what you don't get without Optifine.

Thanks for checking this out! This resource pack is all about making the game feel and actually greener and the Ocean brighter, by changing the color maps of the game, adding grass & flower variants, bushy trees, and far more features!

Note: 1.15.2 already has OptiFine in a preview state. If using a shader, I highly recommend Sildur's Shaders. Be aware that you will not get brighter water colors with a Shader enabled.

Hope you stay healthy during these times!

I like that birch tree leaves are brown just like in autumn.

There's a new version coming soon that fixes it. I had to mess around with the colour mapping and texture brightness for trees. The way colourmaps work in general is just strange to be honest. I've attempted different things, like a random variation with models like what the Better Foliage mod does, but it just didn't look right.

The new version does fix this issue, but it'll always have the awkward lighting issue because that's just how minecraft lighting works with custom models sadly. I'll be re-doing the screenshots as well as to not mislead people, and also separating the bushy leaves from this main version and turning it into it's own thing.

Things in general are a little bit darker as a result, but I think it's much better than how it is now.

I'm a bit disappointed. I've been playing Minecraft for years and have been looking for really realistic texture packs to mix with my medieval one, and I was happy when I found this. However, it doesn't look like it does in the images... Sure some things, but not all... It is a nice pack though...

Yeah, thats the shaders at work there. I should probably make the thumbnail a different image. Try out Excalibur, or A Little Taste of Jerms. They're both excellent.

Lovely pack! But could the grass be more vibrant like jungle grass? This is just my opinion. 😊💐🏳️‍🌈

Thanks! It really means a lot. I've tried that and it just felt out of place a little bit, but I do want to tinker around with the colormaps a lot more now that I'm comfortable with how they work. I'm probably gonna be tweaking how bright the grass looks in Mountain biomes for sure, but yeah I have been thinking about tinkering with that a lot more in every biome.

I might make that but redo some of the iron tools like the sword and axe. I don't like how they look currently.

Thanks! Any criticism is appreciated. What don't you like about the glass?
