What is "Visual Impair"?

Visual Impair is a Minecraft resource-pack which changes entity textures based on their health.
They have 4 texture states per entity, for example:

-A zombie with 100% health will have the original texture
-A zombie with 75% health will look slightly off
-A zombie with 45% health will look pretty beat up
-A zombie with 25% health will look almost completely rotted and beat up.

You get the idea, but not every entity has the same texture style, almost each have their own special texturing health. For most passive mobs
such as a pig will only have slightly ill-looking coloring and desaturation, or villagers/illagers will look slightly red or desaturated.

Will they have blood textures?

No they will not, the closest thing to anything gore is just skeleton textures seen in zombies ect.

Is every entity finished?

Here's the list:
-evoker
-illusioner
-pillager
-pig
-shulker
-wither skeleton
-skeleton
-villager
-wandering trader
-zombie
-phantom
-witch
-drowned
-husk
-turtle
-squid
-glow squid

Why does the pack require Optifine?

It's made with using Optifine resource-pack methods so it's the only way you'll see any texture changes.

Is (pack) compatible with Visual Impair?

If it has any random entity textures/cem then no it will likely not be compatible. However I probably will have some resource-pack addons for
a pack like "Fresh Animations" for the fun of having texture changed health and animated entity.

That's all of the pre-answered questions,
if you have more reply below or if you find a problem with/in the pack please let me know by replying.

Credit info is in the pack file.

If you think I should change a texture because it may look bad or you think it could look better in a more default friendly style (aka a more Jappa-styled texturing) then let me know.

As I'm currently looking at the mob textures, I have a few texture designs I'm not sure how I'm gonna do so please reply to this if you have ideas for the following mobs:(note they will only have textures not cem. That will come in a future pack)

Creeper
Spider
Goat
Fox
MagmaCube/Slime

Mooshroom
Panda
Snow Golem
Vex

as for the others I have a good mindset how they'll look.

this is a great concept that I absolutely love, you can maybe make zombies lose arms and skeletons their heads it's a suggestion, you can even do some stuff with cem, also making husks mummies then making them slowly lose the strap until they look like husks is also an idea but it may stray too far from vanilla, even so, this concept is super cool and I will probably do my own personal pack with the same approach

I'm aware of the cem, and was gonna make a seperate pack after this was finished and call it, "Visual Impair Enhanced" and have cem be common in it, but this is only the start of this pack so we'll see. As for the Husk, I like the idea but yeah it would stray a bit from the vanilla texture. Good luck with your own personal pack too!

Textures look good, but optifine is one word, no dash.

How did you make it change textures based on health? I'm unfamiliar with Optifine packs, but I'd love to learn so I can use something similar to this in my own pack, if you're willing to teach me. :-)

You can see for a example in the .properties in the files how I did it, it's really simple and easy. The texture will = what health percentage it is.
