How to install Minecraft Resource Packs

This resource pack adds, as the name would suggest, easily obtainable and wearable witch hats for you and your friends!

This pack doesn't outright replace the carved pumpkin model and it does not allow the placing of witch hats! It should also be compatible with all other resource packs so long as it's given higher priority than any resource packs that change the pumpkin blur texture (which this pack makes invisible).


THIS RESOURCE PACK REQUIRES OPTIFINE OR CIT RESEWN TO WORK!!

How to Get Witch Hats

Rename a carved pumpkin to any of the following names (it's not case sensitive) to turn them into witch hats!

Expand for applicable names
- Plain
Witch Hat

- Gray
Gray Witch Hat
Grey Witch Hat

- Red
Red Witch Hat

- Candy Red
Candy Red Witch Hat

- Orange
Orange Witch Hat

- Yellow
Yellow Witch Hat

- Green
Green Witch Hat

- Lime
Lime Witch Hat

- Teal
Teal Witch Hat

- Mint
Mint Witch Hat

- Cyan
Cyan Witch Hat

- Blue
Blue Witch Hat

- Dark Blue
Dark Blue Witch Hat

- Purple
Purple Witch Hat

- Violet
Violet Witch Hat
Magenta Witch Hat

- Pink
Pink Witch Hat

Things I May Add

- Different base colors
- More emblem colors
- More witch hat models
- Inventory icons (the textures are completed but I don't know how to get them to show up in the inventory as of right now)
- This may become part of a larger pack if I make any other Halloween themed hats, but this page will remain if that happens for those just wanting witch hats :)
- I might also make a sister datapack to let witches sometimes drop their hats if that's something you guys would like!

There's preview versions for 1.19 out atm but they're a bit unstable and prone to crashing from personal experience

for me, the base model of the carved pumpkin is a witch hat, and I cannot change it by renaming it even with optifine, is there any reason of fix for this?

By chance could you, if you know how to. Make an accessory that looks like piglin ears. Because thats' I've wanted since the piglin concept was brought up. I've always wanted to be able to wear piglin ears, both like the fleshy side and a bone side.

Hi!! Basically what I did was I created a model using this Minecraft modelling program named Blockbench, and then using Optifine (though there's ways to do it without Optifine too) I'm replacing the carved pumpkin model with the models I made :3

It's actually really simple once you get past the whole making a model part but here's a pretty straightforward tutorial that should help!! This tutorial is made for 1.14.4 but it should still hold up for 1.16.4!

If you need a sort of template or example, my 3D snowballs pack might help since it's very small and just has the basics in it
