On June 7, a new Minecraft patch was introduced entitled The Wild Update, adding Frogs, Mangrove Swamp, the Ancient City and its Warden.
However that wasn't as wild as we all hoped.

So here, I present to you, the WILDLIFE+ pack.
The pack that adds different animal variants to existing mobs to make our beloved block game feel more alive!
Here are some examples:

Fox = Fox, Hedgehog, Squirrel
Pig = Pig, Capybara, Badger, Armadillo
Chicken = Chicken, Duck
Turtle = Turtle, Platypus, Crab

All of that without any mods*!
Well, it requires OptiFine to work, but since it's a client-side mod,
you can play with this texture pack on any server. Also OF is easier
to install than Forge mods.

Expect bugs! (and report them please :3) More mobs coming soon!

The MOB VOTE mobs are here! (well, exept the penguin, saddly no mob was good enough for this role)

WHAT'S NEW:
- added Armadillo as a variant of the Pig
- redesigned the Crab to resemble the one from this year's Mob Vote (red, more classic variant is also available)
- added a Grizzly Bear variant to the Polar Bear (forgot to put that on the banner image :skull:) (suggested by emmy_exe)
- retextured the Capybara to look more realistic
- slightly retextured the Squirrel
= Zebras for Donkeys and Pigeons for Parrots are work in progress

geez that's a lotta animals

thanks, though i won't live long enough to add all these lol



the thing with the mob vote penguin as the turtle is the animation

it would look dumb with it just zooming underwater standing upright

and i'm not planning on adding custom animations anytime soon as i'm not good at it and it would complicate things even more



and i'm not gonna redesign hedgehogs cause i think they're perfect as they are

Maybe in your next update you could add raccoons for foxes, Tigers for ocelots, and more bird variants with parrots?! Id love to see robins and crows/ravens!! and maybe even grizzlies to polar bears...?
