SINCE WE CANNOT USE THE SWORDS WHEN THEY ARE IN THE OFFHAND,
THIS TEXTURE PACK CHANGES THE WAY HOLD THEM

FEATURES:
- Players will hold the sword with the blade facing backwards when it is in their left or right hand (Depending on which zip you choose)
- Works with all swords!

GAME VERSION: Java 1.19.3
OPTIFINE NEEDED? No

COMPATIBILITY / SUPPORT:
- The swords textures can be changed with other texture packs

ADDITIONAL FILES INCLUDED:
- There are 2 zips included, one that sheathes the swords in the right hand and one that sheathes them in the left hand.

  • Added a new zip which applies the sheathed display of the swords in the right hand, ideal for people who have the left hand configured as the main hand.

hey! I fixed it so it includes axes too!

In fact, it's so easy to do. So easy in fact you could do it for all tools (if you really wanted to sit in notepad++ and hit "replace all" for every one of them) in about... 10 minutes? Given you can rename files quickly.

Some experimenting later and I managed to adjust the first person view too! :D

just want to know if it only works on 1.19.3 because my friends like to play on servers on the newer versions of minecraft and I just want to be sure it will still work before I download it

Hey i just wanted to ask if it would be possible for you to make this texture but with some shorter swords so it kinda resembles more the art of pocket knife or something?

Thanks for this! I love the aesthetic of having a sword "sheathed" at your character's hip. Something about that is just really cool!! Though, I wish there were a way that its position and movement weren't relative to the hand it's being held in; when just standing around idle, the sword sways. I guess there really isn't a way around it, considering this a resource pack and not a mod.
