Ravand's realistic 256x256 oNews,Updates,To-do List: Keep this mind that this version is still a WIP from my original 64x64 texture pack that is why i have opened a new thread here in the forums! Another reason why i post it here seperately is, that it is going to be completely independent of the original x64 pack. So if you see a texture which has not been yet converted to x256 that is because its still beeing updated!
I will make this Texture pack basically in the same style like my original pack but ofcourse with alot more detail and quality.
A 128x128 Will follow if i feel like the x256 is ready.

Install my Texture Pack: -First of all download my texture pack from the Download section and save it to your Minecraft texture pack folder. If you dont know how to locate the texture pack folder simply start Minecraft, go to "Mods and Texture Packs" andclick on "Open Texture Pack folder". Do not extract the zip file just put the .zip file in it!
-Since this a 256x256 texture pack you will need to install
OptiFinewith
Magic Launcher. If you have downloaded Magic Launcher and Optifine * Standard version, simply start Magic Launcher and click on "SETUP" there you will be able to click "ADD" to browse to the Optifine zip which you have downloaded before. If Optifine Standard is loaded into the list you can simply press OK and log into Minecraft via Magic Launcher
-If you are now in Minecraft click on "Mods and Texture Packs" and select my texture pack (this may lag your Minecraft for a few seconds so don't worry).
-If you want my Aether textures simply copy the "armor" and "aether" folder from the "ravands_aether.zip" into the "minecraft.jar". Make sure you have Aether Mod installed (link above)!

My computer complained and said it had atleast 2-5 Viruses on it. Now google chrome is really laggy D:
NO thanks to you.
Let me tell you why this shouldn't be installed.
So I downloaded what I THOUGHT was the resource pack which was actually an Installer for it. (seriously, who does that?) so i run the installer and it has me try and install three other things along with a freaking toolbar. I go to the IObit uninstaller and uninstall everything that wasn't the resourcepack. I run minecraft and go to resourcepacks and it's not even there, how dumb is that? Anyways durring that while i was running the installer McAfee went off telling me that it could be a virus.
