I have no clue what you are on about, not even once did he/she/it ever mention that they were trying to replicate any sort of style. The way I see it "Adventure Time" is just a pack name, I have no clue what it means to you, but to me it means, adventure and time...
Don't look too deep into things. The pack maker did not specify anything so you should not take themes for granted until the creator declares it so. Instead of losing yourself in your banter, you should have aproached the subject with caution, for instance: "I notice that this pack's name and some of the textures resemble Adventure time, the whateveritisthing, if this was your intention, then I would like to point out some flaws in your designs out of pure personal opinion, such as: enterwhateveritwasthatupsetyousomuchastohavetheneedtobreakoutintearsoverthisadventuretimethingandhowitdoesnotfityourimageofwhatadventuretimeis" You then proceed by complimenting him on his efforts, but you ascertain that he/she/it also understands that in the off-chance that it could be related to what your personal view of adveture time is, he/she/it did not, in your personal opinion, succeed in capturing it's theme.
