I ported the biome specific water colors over from the Bedrock edition of Minecraft.

I manually copied the HEX values from this minecraft wiki page one by one and placed each pixel on the right spot of Optifine's biome colormap format.

Feel free to use this in your own resource pack.

Shader used in screenshots is Sildur's Enhanced Default, with some small personal modifications.

Optional skies update! : 09/23/2019 6:46:18 pmSep 23rd

Inside the resource pack, there's now a folder called "Optional". If you put the files inside that folder next to the rest of the files, you'll get matching sky and fog colors in all biomes too! I personally really like this effect, but I made it optional since it's not accurate to bedrock, and I can imagine a lot of people might think it's too different from vanilla.

If you try it out, let me know what you think!

I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Thank you so much for making this, I love the water textures on Bedrock Edition and now I can enjoy them on Java too. :D

Make sure Custom Colors is turned on. That should do it, I think.

Do you have any other resource packs enabled? Maybe it's another pack overwriting mine.

I tried it just by itself with only a few mods: optifine, fabric, fabric api, worldedit, chat bubbles, dynamic fps, voxel map and shulker box tool tips

You are going to need to get "optifabric". It makes optifine work with fabric, you can find it on curseforge.

That's odd, I just tried it out and it works on my end. I'm not familiar with Fabric, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that Optifine doesn't work well with it. That's all I can think of, sorry.
