Custom sounds

Since I'm not the type of guy who takes other peoples work,
to make profit with it here is a free for personal use music, from the game Stronghold.
You can officially download it from here for free. Or use this conveniently placed button, to
download and already to the .ogg format converted and renamed version of the music, that
you simply unzip and place inside your../assets/minecraft/musicdictionary.


How to use custom sounds.
In order to use custom sounds i added to conquest you have to use the ingame command
/playsound [Name of the sound] [@p/a/r/personname] [x] [y] [z]] [loudness] .
This command can either be used in chat or with command blocks

Hi, I am having an issue where different blocks that merge textures (eg. grass and stone) interferes with my shaders. (Its also just generally confusing as to what type of block it is sometimes)

Do you have a version without different block type merging. I notice your older versions don't merge same block types like stone...

I see in the files of the recourse packs that there are all of these custom sounds and items but i do not know how to get them into the game. can someone explain to me how to do that?
Hello. This resource pack is absolutely amazing. I just can't find one thing... written instruction on hor to use an 'alt' texture. I am trying to replace the redstone torch texture to the 'alt' one. I replace the candlestick images and launch Minecraft. When I place a resstone torch, the mets animation appears to be pulling from some animated candlestick and not the alt redstone torch. Could you provide some assistance? Thank you very much.

Hello monsterfish, your new textures you have made for 1.7.10 five months ago are so good (redstone block meta data 152:1 is not working properly for me) :) Will you someday add new textures to 1.7.10 or did you abandoned that version? Thanks

[code]hello I downloaded the resource pack Conquest 1.12.2 from monsterfisch. I realized that the texture of cleanston does not look great in any biomedicine and that a flaky inst came about that is very annoying.I also liked the fact that the Netherreck has different textures and also the trees and the water in the mushroom are biom anderst (red)I use forg 1.12.2 liteloader1.12.2 and optifine 1.12.2 C6Is there an alternative for the pack or will I live with it.and the pack is even though I have made it brighter and the dynamic illumination does not run smoothly, not much lighter.i need a answer in german please an my Email angela.minecraft @web.de[/code]

i'm using it for a long time now.

getting issues tho since ... i think 1.12
the grass on top of the grass texture overlapping to the next block that is not grass gives those water reflection with shaders.
also got those weird grass squares on top of grass blocks.


happens with different shaders.


tried different things to get rid of that issues ...
is it the aoverlays?
havent found an acceptable solution yet.

Holy damn this resource pack is amazing! Especially since John Smith was my favourite resource pack (until I used this one ofc)

I have a question. I've lost file for Conquest Texture Pack version 11.1 for MC 1.7.10. Now it's imposible to download this version of this file. Have You someone this texture pack? Can be even lover version like 10.5, but not lower.

I have a quick question that I didn't see mentioned, and searched for a couple key words on as best possible on here..

It's amazing we can change swords/armor into other items similar to the way this pack used to use the metadata/item id's.. Why can't we do the same for the blocks, IE cobblestone on anvil renaming it to "italian stone" or whatever exactly it would be.. Is there a way we can do that and I just used incorrect names? How is it that using the anvil allows the item to change like that? Thanks in advance,


I always use your resourcepack but I have a blue / white texture that appears in the leaves.


I use the last version of Optifine for MC 1.12
The texture issue appears with or without shaders.

Any idea of what the problem is ?

So this pack is practically unusable with any shaders except Conquest of the Sun? Sildurs makes the connected textures grey, chocapic makes them have the reflection of water and SEUS makes them grey and have this weird overlay.

Only one that works without glitching is Conquest of the Sun, and I don't really like how it looks.

Love this texture pack but I seem to have a wooden trapdoor issue. When I hold one in my hand it looks as it should but when I place it, it's just solid wood. (I've included a screenshot). Any help would be greatly appreciated
the texture of the trapdoor changes depending on the biome to give people more trapdoors to build with

Love the resource pack, I've used it for years!

But, could you consider something other than ad.fly? It's a royal pain in the ass to download the RP whenever I change computers and the site totally hijacks my browser.
if you have a better service provider i am more than willing to put up an alternate way (just no direct download as i would like to keep the pack free for you guys but get a little revenue due to the ads displayed)

for the direct link one you need 1.12 minecraft but on the conquest.ravand.org website you can download the pack for every version of the game since 1.5 and even older
I'm not completely sure if anybody already knew this, but when you rename any armor to "Christmas Crusader" they turn into Templar armor.

The word Crusader changes the armor on the website there are a ton of armors you can get by renaming.

This pack is gorgeous. I really don't want to play without it anymore.

We have a glitch with connected textures in combination with any shader mod, however. Someone mentioned it further down.

Basically all connected texture blocks get covered in a watery sheen, with major flickering (z-fighting).
This issue didn't occur in the 1.11 versions of Conquest. AFAIK all shaders are affected.

Here's a clip of it in motion.
the problem here at hand is a new feature added by optifine that has been used by the majority of the shaders in the past to create a certain effect the ConquestOfTheSun shader and trilitons shader support the feature correctly (according to optifine) and it works no problem with them so if you have a shader that doesn't work with the feature you have to contact the shader dev and request them to address a fix for the issue as it is not solvable properly on my end without loosing on the aesthetics side of things

After some time using your pack, I'm used to the textures so I barely miss any ore.
But, sometimes, when there's only one diamond ore alone, there's no diamond on the visible side of the block. It's always visible only when there are two diamond ore at least.
I think it might be the same for coal, not sure.
Please make sure the ore is always visible, and it would be perfect.
This pack is so amazing, it's like playing another game. I'm using it with Audiocraft sound pack, it's awesome.
ah yeah ill see what i can do about that it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to fix =)

This is because of the mixing textures they have it can't get wholly covered unless the stone is broken by another block on any side then it'll get covered i don't think he can fix this.

I noticed it's impossible to see emerald sometimes for exemple because there's no trace of green on the visible face of the block. I got some of them by luck xD
That's frustrating because this pack is so awesome.
This is a joke. Ive been trying to download this pack for ages, finally after battling through adfly which I hate btw it downloaded. Next problem windows 10 hates Java, doesn't work, finally downloaded the mcpatcher jar, wont work, downloaded a jar opener on win10 store, guess what doesn't work, been at this for 3 hours, gave up.

Wait. You gotta pay for this? ^^" Monsterfish? Explain? I'm not downloading the pack until I get confirmation that I don't have to pay real money (or any money, for that fact. I'm broke, man)
Since you got the pack already all you really need to do nowadays is to get optifine it comes with an autoinstaller that you just run and than it add the modded jar to the launcher automatiucally.

as with the win10 version of the pack it is coming just note it will certainly not be the same as on java as win10 doesnt support connected textures of any sorts =(

People keep harping on how this a fantastic texture pack, but why? It's 32x32! In this day and age that's rubbish. These textures probably would be nice, if I wasn't walking around in a hazy, grainy, low res world. The textures are complex and are crying out to be seen! Misa64 has been out for years, but look how clean and clear the textures are. I'm sorry, but this a nice idea, but let down by mediocre resolutions.
See the problem is I think a resolution of 64 and higher in minecraft is out of proportion to the block size. Its a very subjective matter however as you are talking about upping the graphics instead of improving the aesthetics which is the opposite what I am doing with my work. Its like saying all 2d platformer games are bad because there is 3d technology which is very superficial at best.

I got an idea for this texture pack. An addition to the iron golems!

Snowy_taiga, ice_plains: the iron golems covered in snow
Desert: the iron golems covered some sand
Swamp: Iron would be covered in mud and moss
etc. etc. etc.

i like the idea i am planning on redoing the irongolems anyways so that could be done at the same time =)

I cant wait to see how the texturepack is with update 1.13. Hopefully you can add more blocks, stairs, slabs, armors and weapons with this new distribution that will be implemented!!!
1.13 is mainly going to affect mods not sure if its going to make new blocks avaviable in a resourcepack but i am open to good news any time hehe

I don't know why but the tree's in the game when I play look really weird even with optifine its just like green squares

I used to use the head block as a small chest but now with the latest update it is just a head was this intentional or a bug?
I would really love the small chest back
i will revert the change to the chest again only problem is that there are people out there that for some reson dont use customskins and they get confused when their char has a chest as a head ^^
I'd like to let you know of an issue with the Excalibur and Leafblade Claymore sword textures not appearing when renaming. I also saw this issue with pieces of some armor sets including Mithril, Elven Plate, Elven Crown/Fancy Gambeson and Majestic. I noticed it's appearing would depend on the armor type i'm using e.g Majestic didn't appear for me when using Diamond, but did with Iron. Seeing as how I'm creating an Elven-esque set of isles based off Alinor & Tir na Lia (refer to Elder Scrolls & The Witcher for more info) these textures are very important to me. I want to make my project feel truly alive and be viable as a roleplaying adventure map because of your pack. I encourage continued work on what I consider the top quality resource pack in the entire MC fanbase. No, really. I've used a lot of the most popular packs in this game but none of them compare to Conquest.

So, I've been trying for two weeks now to download the pack. Adfly is happily mucking around and when I actually get that far that it would redirect to the download, adfly tries to squeeze in another download of some sort or another that is luckily blocked by my scriptblockers.
I'd really appreciate it if you could put up an alternative link or completely get away from adfly. There are other sites with the option of money making that do not pull half of the shit adfly does.

Did you click "Skip ad" at the top right of the page?
So with the new update. Apparently I can eat leggings! All of your armor set retextures applied through the anvil use 412 (Cooked Rabbit) instead of 312 (Diamond Leggings). So without going through all the files and fixing it manually, I can't enjoy any full set of armor when using diamond armor.

Hi! i'd first like to say that i absolutely adore your texture pack, keep up the good work!

but since using it i have noticed that there is writing on the oak leaf blocks, telling me to use optifine. i have downloaded it and i'm pretty sure i installed it correctly but it is still there. is there a way to make it go away? it's a little bit annoying.
if you have optifine installed the text absolutely goes away (except for the breaking particles) make sure you have ctm enabled in video settings/quality. In case you dont have that option you have to make sure you have the right profile selected or have optifine properly installed
