Since I'm not the type of guy who takes other peoples work,

How to use custom sounds.
In order to use custom sounds i added to conquest you have to use the ingame command
/playsound [Name of the sound] [@p/a/r/personname] [x] [y] [z]] [loudness] .
This command can either be used in chat or with command blocks

Hi Monsterfish.
I wondered if you are planning to add a plain texture for the gold block other then the chiseled one.
Because not having a plain gold texture makes building statues very difficult and there aren't any gold slabs, vertical slabs or pillar/column etc....

I've got a question. How can I disable the additional texture for leaves?
Hi! I've been trying to get the custom Elytra textures, but when I rename them with an anvil they retain their original textures. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks! (btw I love this texture pack!)

I don't know why, but this texture pack is more taxing on my PC than your typical 128 or 256 texture packs. Other than that, this is the best texture pack for Minecraft.
that's probably because the pack is using a more complex handling of how the textures are being applied to the blocks in game as they change dynamically depending on adjacent blocks and the like

Yeah, that might be the case too, however from my experience I found that forests are the most demanding. Though they look the best from all the texture packs I have seen since early stages of minecraft.

Hey, will the connected textures feature be fixed for 1.13?
i hope to bring it back soon but its more a technical thing that prevents me from doing so at the moment
Seems there are some missing textures on tools much as shovels and pickaxes

which ones in particular are missing?

So great update and i love that you updated the 1.12 version too. I guess you abandoned 1.7.10? That is sad. I could add your new textures to 1.7.10 but i dont know how to work with meta data ;x Anyway keep up the good work :)
yeah, sadly I have no test environment for 1.7 and no time next to the commission work and life to maintain the 1.7 version considering that many features I would like to bring over to 1.7 like the cit don't even work with optifine in that version...

Aside from the lack of blocks blending with one another now, I'm really pleased with the 1.13 additions and changes. Speaking of which, was the removal of the blending feature intentional or is it simply a bug with the current version? Because quite honestly that's the primary attraction for me to this pack, aside from the professional job done on the textures themselves.
i am hoping to bring back the blending feature but there are some problems preventing me from doing so at the moment =/ will have to poke the maker of optifine to simplify the process

Hello, it seems I can't pinpoint where this issue us coming from, but basically all iron fence blocks with this resource pack always have the wood thatch design and not normal iron, anyone else have this problem?
do you have a screenshot of that issue in case its still a thing?

I've discovered that forest biomes shows the thatch fence texture, so I use world edit to switch the biome to plains. Idk my friends say they don't see the thatch design so it is very strange.

Hello. I've been using Conquest for years and it's always been my favorite texture pack. Still love it, but right now I'm having a bit of an odd issue with some of the grass that I have no idea how I could fix.

Any idea why this is happening? Seems to be an issue with connected textures, as toggling the option makes the issue disappear, but it also manages to create a whole host of other issues, considering Conquest uses connected textures for quite a bit.





Any help would be super appreciated. Seems like a legitimate texture issue, but if there's any way that I can fix this myself before the next pack update, I'd be extremely grateful to know how.

It's still me, i' d like to ask you I can make my own texture pack switch on when you enter the server and put the original link to your texture in the lobby where everyone can see it.
So you want to make a smaller version of the pack via in-game prompts and than a notice, in-game to get the full pack?
I wanted to use your pack on the server(with minor changes, alongside some plugins like wands and stuff)and then put the link in the lobby to the original texture; it will be immediately visible and explicit that I didn't made this pack and there will be a link were players can download Conquest (the original pack) from here and credits to you for the pack.
But only if it is Ok for you.
P.S.:I have also asked Origine if I could use the Conquest reforged mod as well because it adds a lot of stuff to minecraft that I always dreamed about.

I stumbled across thi amazing texture an immediately fell in love for it.
It is ,in my opinion one of the best, if not the best, texture pack i ever seen.
It is my dream to open an Harry Potter style server but unfortunately i haven't got a decent texture.
Could i use yours?I will credit you for the amazing job you have done with it and if you don't mind i will add like a magic plugin and change a bit some textures.

I stumbled across this pack and immediately fell in love, so incredible job putting it together! My only problem is with leaves. Something's wrong with the texture and I'm not sure if it's on my end somehow or if anyone else is experiencing it. The 3D texture of every leaf block is not coming out right. It's hard to explain without a picture but I can see the intended texture, it's just that it's surrounded by green so wherever the leaves are supposed to stick out of the block, there's a big 2D square. I love the resource pack so I can deal with the weirdness of looking at the trees, but if anyone could help me that'd be great hahaha

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the changing of block textures between biomes? I'm trying to build in a taiga biome and the cobblestone texture is almost identical to stone bricks, and it's messing with my build because the cobblestone texture as it is doesn't match the cobblestone wall, but whenever I go onto another world/find another biome the cobble texture reverts back to normal.

Any help would be appreciated.

the biomedepended feature will be gone in the next version of the pack and moved onto a double slab so you have a whole lot more control over where it goes =)
Upon further inspection this looks more like a glitch than biome dependent textures - the outer edges of the blocks look like stone bricks, but when more are placed the connected sections in the middle look like cobblestone but the connections don't entirely match up. I've never had this happen before - perhaps it is an issue with optifine?
It seems it's not a glitch, I was right the first time. It is biome dependent textures but seems to only be happening in taiga biomes and the like so far, which is incredibly annoying given it's my preferred biome for builds. Any help with disabling this if possible would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure to click the "skip ad" button in the top right. As it stands I won't be making a direct link for public access, however, there is a donator feature through which you get access to the latest build of the pack meaning in development textures etc through dropbox forever which gives direct access without the hassle of the ad page .

------> Make sure to disable Norton and/or adblocker plugins in your browser when opening the ad page as it can prevent you from seeing the skip button which you need to click to continue <-----

just to lay out the reasoning for this: as I do put a lot of work into the pack and the download is for free the adfly page (where you skip the ad) makes sure I get a few bucks per download to make it worth the amount of time spend working on the textures and therefor making a direct link would result in no monetary compensation.

Does anyone know how to give item with specific data after 1.13 ? Like cobweb as chain etc..
that feature was removed by mojang in 1.8 there is no way outside of modding the game to get those blocks ingame anymore in the new versions of the game
What would you feel about changing the stripped spruce log a bit darker?

I believe that they are too similar to the ones in oak and a wee touch of dark brown would make them feel better and more useful in builds.

I keep getting a "Your connection is not private, ravand.org maybe trying to steal your information" etc etc etc
that sounds like a message from an overprotective antivirus programme ^^ the host I have the files on aka ravand.org is a private host of a friend of mine there is no information gathering going on there the reason you are getting this is probably because the ip is not known to the program you are using

Has the feature whereby you rename a weapon to get a custom texture according to the weapon name been added just yet?
no its been a feature provided by optifine for a bunch of versions at this point =) if you check out the conquest.ravand.org website you will find a more indepth documentation of custom content conquest offers as well =)
