You are bored of the clean Minecraft default textures and looking for something better, something new or just looking for anything?
No matter which person you are - Gearan is perfect for you!

It's the best balance between realistic and default. You can even balance it yourself by using the Gearan Default add-on.

It is also a good alternate to packs like Conquest which contains such awesome models but needs a lot of performance and that means that not everyone is able to use it.
So Gearan also has lot of models included but it doesn't have this high resolution and performance impact.

The pack does contain several models and special features that are designed for building in survival or creative mode. If you are playing with people that don't use Gearan or on servers that have been built using other resource packs It is recommended to download and use the "Gearan Default Add-On" which replaces some textures with more default-like ones. And even if you don't think you need to use it you should definitely check it out.

Have you tried the "Easy Install Download"?
If that does not work either I'm very sorry, the pack hasn't been updated for a while so maybe there have been changes to how packa should be.

This Resource Pack has great general texture, but also a great loss of quality in somethings. The tools are basically unrecognizable between they type of material and blend with the GUI color. the cobblestone is too similar with your original form of stone, and even more similar to Andesite, having almost nothing of different. The gold has a VERY bad looking color, a dead light yellow. Gold isn't a dead yellow, it is a pure and SHINY yellow.

I'm just sad for these things, which make me not like this Resource Pack. Even though it's pretty good in the other things, these problems make it not worth.

I accidentally found this texture pack and I am glad I did! These are some beautiful textures and exactly what I've been looking for. I was in need of a nice medieval(ish) texture pack that wasn't tough on my old laptop and this works beautifully!!
