Southern Paw by _Lm (v1.0)
The Left-handed GUI
This is an experimental resource pack that shifts the player's held item gui to the left side of the screen. If you encounter any unknown flaws or have a suggestion please leave them in the comments below.
Currently Known Issues/Obstacles:
- Player hand still on right side (unchangable via. resource pack).
- Casted Fishing Rod is on right side due to fishing rod line placement.
- Thrown entities (Splash potions, Snowballs) appear to be thrown on right side.
- Item use/Destroy block animation swings held item inwards towards the player rather that outwards.
THE CONTENTS OF THIS MODEL PACK ARE MODIFIED OFF OF THOSE FOUND IN THE DEFAULT RESOURCE PACK CREATED MY MOJANG AB. THEREFORE I DO NOT MONETIZE THIS PACK AS I BELIEVE IT IS NOT MY OWN DESIGN. PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE WHEN USING ANY MINECRAFT TEXTURES, SOUNDS, CODE, AND ANY FILES WITHIN THE MINECRAFT ENGINE THAT WERE NOT ORIGINALLY CREATED BY YOU.

Thank you to all who made this model pack popular.
Just a quick update to remind everyone that I do not claim complete ownership of these models. I put a lot of hard work into making this pack, but I based most my work off of already existing code within the Default Resource Pack.
I made this because I felt the community needed it, so feel free to share and change this pack as much as you would like.
Thanks again,
~ _Lm

It's fairly easily to make any item be held like a sword. Just copy the model text file of a sword, rename it "cod" (this is the fish's name), and open the file and replace the sword texture name with that of the fish.
