I probably won't finish this resource pack so I might as well release it as is.
At first, I wanted this resource pack to make tiling less visible while remaining close to the original textures: each new block texture has 255 variations which come from a 256px x 256px texture divided in 256 tiles.

Example: Lapis Lazuli Ore

Then I started to change things like water, lava, fire, various models, lighting, which defeat the original purpose of this resource pack, but oh well.
Some textures could be improved, but I'm not sure if I should put more effort into matching the default textures since most of them will change anyway.
Requires Optifine.

That is a dang clever way to introduce tiling/variation. Did you test out different quantities to figure out that 255 was the best number to work with? Could you achieve the same kind of tiling variation at, say, 55?

I chose to make 255 variations since it's the area of a chunk (16 blocks wide, 16 blocks long), making that many variations might be unnecessary, but since I can generate as many as I want it's not an issue (128 x 128 blocks = 16384 textures, 8 x 8 blocks = 64 textures). 55 variations might be enough, it depends on how many blocks you can display in-game while being able to see the details of each one of them.

The love that went into this is apparent; I couldn't make 255 different textures for every block without some passion behind it. I don't blame you for not wanting to finish it as that's a lot of work! But your efforts have definitely gone into something cool.

You probably think I drew each variation manually but that's not the case, that would have been an insane amount of work.
Each block texture has been generated from a combination of noises, gradients and filters.
Once I get it right, I can make as many variations as I want, at any resolution (although complex textures won't look very good, since i tried to match vanilla textures at the default resolution only) and I can change colors with a few clicks.
That's still a lot of work since I try to match vanilla textures, but it's more efficient.
