kinda wish the weapons were more... mario-like.
like the axes could be hammers.
I understand your criticism, but I wanted to keep the weapons as they are, to limit confusion (In the Mario Pack for Wii U and Switch, I commonly mistake the swords for axes). Hope you understand :)

a funny idea came to mind.
why not make the swords plungers?
after all, the mario bros are plumbers.
I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm going to keep the swords as they are :)

eh. okay.
but, are you planning on making an all-stars resource pack?
If I were to make an all-stars resource pack, it would be based on a specific game (SMAS: SMB, SMAS: SMB2, SMAS: SMB3) But my next pack is going to be based on New Super Mario Bros. U.
So excited for it!

Cool! (But anything Mario is a LITTLE cool, right?)
Heh, Thanks!
I don't really know where else to post this, but I've just deleted my other texture pack, 'Minecraft - Super Mario Bros. Edition'. I, with the knowledge and tricks I've learned while making SMW Edition, am currently working on a complete remake going by the name of 'Minecraft - Super Mario Bros. Edition Deluxe!
As a little peek, check out 2 screen shots and the Logo here. Thanks!
Well, I tried downloading this pack recently and it doesn't pop up in my texture pack list, even though I put it in with my other packs correctly... is there something wrong with me or the pack...? I really want to use it, but I need a little help.
Make sure you Unzip the file directly to your resource packs folder of Minecraft, and it should work correctly.

I just tried and it's still not working for me. It has to be something about the pack. I don't see any other problem. Every other texture pack I download works, but not the one I want the most... Story of my life.
I made a visual tutorial to help out a little more: http://imgur.com/a/8TX7f. Hope this helps!
So THAT'S what I forgot to do! Thanks a lot :D
Not a problem!

That splash is just a normal Minecraft splash, not a typo, sorry. I only edited a few off the top of splashes.txt

Alright then, just ask me anything about the pack, and I'll (probably) be able to give a decent answer.

that would be very helpful!
To answer your first question, I put .ogg files of the Mario songs into the 'sounds' folder in the proper directory using http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Sounds.json as a guide.
To answer you second question, I use Paint.net.
Thanks for the questions! Sorry if my first answer is kinda convoluted, I tried to put it simply.

I'm legitimately wondering if this is allowed. No harshness to the creator, but I'd check with the mods to make sure you can upload a pack made with (What I've assuned to be,) other people's sprites. You gave proper credit, so I'm good. Just don't accidentally get yourself in a mess. I'd love to see it stay! ;)
Well, my Super Mario Bros. Pack, which also uses both Nintendo's sprites and my own customs, is still up, so I think this one should be okay. :)

I kinda dislike the outlines of the sandstone, to be honest. But the rest looks amazing, good job!
Thank you! I'm going to be revising some textures soon.

I love this pack so much. The only thing that needs changing is the sounds- they're a bit rough and are earsores. Take, for example, the grass breaking and walking sound. They just sound so harsh. The music disks, however, are great, and so are the textures.
Just updated the pack with softer walking and block sounds, if you'd like to check it out. Thank you for the much needed criticism.

That's so much nicer. Thanks for taking the time to fix that. If you need any help in the future for new updates, I actually make texture packs for myself. Feel free to message me if you'd like to see a few examples.
Ok, thank you!

thank you so much!
No problem!
The amount of time and effort put into this resourcepack is really shown throughout the pack.

Great job!
Thank you!
No problem :D
