A logical realistic adaptation of the vanilla Minecraft textures
By CannibalSanta
v 1.1.2
Goal:
The goal of this texture pack was add realistic/logical feel to the game where all the textures connected (nearly) seamlessly to remove a lot of ugly tiling issues such as the vanilla grass texture, without the use of mods.
Naturally found resources such as dirt and stone behave in the logical sense where obvious patterns in the textures are commonly not found. On the contrary, manufactured resources such as wood and stone brick, are man made and show patterns as in the real sense of the materials being stacked together to make a whole.
How to customize: (currently limited options WIP)
Example: Changing the redstone ore block thing back to the vanilla texture
Open "Tasty Textures 1.1.2" folder
Open the "texture" folder
Open the "blocks" folder
Within the "blocks" folder search for a folder named "blockRedstone"
Within the "blockRedstone" folder there are multiple choices for this example we are going to choose "blockRedstone (7)"
Now copy "blockRedstone (7)" into the previous "block" folder where my original "blockRedstone" is and paste and delete the original "blockRedstone" image.
Now remove the " (7)" from the image you just pasted so the name reads "blockRedstone" just like the one you just deleted. Make sure the space between "blockRedstone" and "(7)" is deleted.
That should do it just close the folder and make sure it is saved
Extra notes:
~ Make sure the new texture is placed in the same location of the original one that is to be replaced
~ All originals do not have the numbers in parentheses after the name
~ Same process for mobs / items just the original textures are in different places
~ Blocks found here: Tasty Textures 1.1.2/textures/blocks
~ Items found here: Tasty Textures 1.1.2/textures/items
Notes:
~ MCPatcher and other Graphical Mods are not required ~
~ Tasty Textures is updated for Minecraft version 1.5.2
~ Feel free to give me any ideas or even criticism

Got a lot of work done on many of the textures and other oddities
As for the minecraftcustomizer I am not confident where it is updated fully because I do have some different textures that I am 50/50 deciding which one to included in the planetminecraft update.
But yes I will have it updated the day 1.5 comes out.
