Don't miss ores when you mine. This has big animated ores that stand out and gem encrusted animals. Diamond chicks that lay golden eggs Many other features.

Installation instructions: Download .zip file from mirror site, (mediafire). Place zip file into your minecraft texture folder which can be accessed from game menu screen.

I might remove some of the textures in the near future since they are not necessary for hardcore mining.

Fixed animated ores to work in resource packs format.  They previously only worked in 1.5 and below.

I might remove some textures as they do not add to mining effeciency.  Some textures were put in to remind me to change back to stock when finished mining.

This isn't hardcore, this is just making it easier. Wouldn't a real HARDCORE miner want something to make ores look the same as every other stone?

Damn, you are totally right.  I'm totally intrigued by this concept. All ores looking like stone would be over the top hard.  I doubt that this could be posted on pmc due to the new rules, but I'm totally doing this in single player.  Awesome.

Ya sadly the pmc rules basically ban all simplistic changes, have an armor pack that makes it so you can see player skins while being able to judge what armor there wearing. Though I might do this as well, and add all my other hardcore packs to it

I've always used 100 percent brightness. With this pack and high brightness makes ores ridiculously easy to spot. It's just a tool I use to make mining easier. I must admit the best portion of this pack is the nether. You can see quartz hundreds of blocks in the distance and they stand out like a sore thumb. This is something I made since there are very few dedicated mining packs out there.

X-ray pack is for finding an ore that you normally couldn't see even if it was a couple blocks away.This pack is for finding a ore that you already uncovered or finding ores you missed
