I'm far from the only person to do this but like many I'm bothered by the fences and gates looking like they were carved out of horizontal planks.

So I fixed it!

Fence poles now have a vertical texture, and there's no more dark gaps running along any of the parts

It still uses parts of the existing plank texture for horizontal parts along wiht a new one for vertical parts, so it's not compatible with other texture packs that change plank textures unless you make a replacement for the new fence post texture, but in most cases I imagine you could just use the textures for stripped logs from the pack you want it to match.

Also includes a new inventory model that's more similar to how fences appear in the world, including one for the nether brick fence for the sake of consistency. The nether brick fence is otherwise unchanged

Feel free to modify and include in packs or collections.
