Bigger Space for the New Profile Format and The Option for a Background

While trying to make my blog profile look like the old one, I just miss the fact that you could look at the "About" page and scroll through countless gifs while you scroll through down immensely. You know how in the old format, you could scroll down the entire profile and look at countless gifs? Well, due to the fact that it's condensed, it doesn't feel the same. I'd say more freedom should go into doing this.
My Issue Over Here...

Besides that, I would love to see a feature where you could have a big 'ol background, like in the 2012 YouTube format. Trust me, I would love to put my characters and stuff on the sidebars while scrolling through countless blogs and gifs. It'll make the new format seem more satisfying and yet more awesome. It would be nice and refreshing to spice up your page rather than the generic dirt background for every single time you look at your profile. I'd say around 2000x2238 would be the best recommended size for the background, and I'd say keep the MB size for it.

For Example... Something like this YouTuber's (AnimationEpic's) awesome background from 2012 (Wayback Machine Woot Woot!)

Infinitely-stretching gif pages are terrible for practical purposes. You can still kind of do this by visiting a full Custom Post page, though.

We did toss around customizable backgrounds at one point, but because we are doing custom themes now (as you may have seen with dark mode, winter/easter themes, etc) it might end up clashing.

Not sure how long this would take if it does end up getting accepted, but in the meantime, you could try something like making your page 3 columns instead of 2 and have the gifs running down either side. 1 block wide About widget on the left, 2-block-wide Submissions Gallery in the center, and a 1 block wide Custom Post widget on the right, all stretching as far down as allowed.

Might not be perfect, but would allow you to fit more of your gifs into the space available.

Ah, thanks for that... I'm quite surprised that you actually are in the works of accepting this and making it a reality! It's quite strange that when you try to get the creators to do something, it just never gets accepted. And yes, this is a world where a game called "Clash of Clans" or even Google itself will not listen to the common people, and just continue to screw things up, even if they have free time. Sure, it's because they're big businesses, but can't they just hire more staff on hand? ...Whatever. Digressing aside, this is why I love Planet Minecraft. They care for the fandom, even if they're quite busy. I just love you, the fandom, the Moderators/Other-Staffers, and this site for being a happy fun community. You guys rock; and Foxy, I'm glad you took some time off in the day to do this. You didn't have to, but it just made it all the greater to do something like this. ...Just, Thank you. <3

PS: The reason why it's two columns instead of three is because I tried my best to make it look like the old profile. Good suggestion, though! xD

Oh sorry. I should clarify: I have no control over site features like this. Essentially what I just did was move this ticket into the feed of the people who run the site and make new features for it like this recent profile update so they can look it over and decide whether or not to accept it.

But they're pretty busy at the moment cleaning up any bugs from this update that people find, so it might take a while for them to get back to the suggestion tickets.

Ah, I see. I do realize that some staff members off the site have limited features, and yes, I can understand that greatly to an extent. Although, it must be fun to just move stuff over to the feed, am I right? *cough sarcastic sympathetic cough* ...Anywho, I will be patient. Of course, I have this thing bookmarked, and not only that, subscribed, so I'll be sure to check everyday.
