Either community contests or PMC contests.
We won't be creating a contest for "better players" because where do you draw the line on that? I'd feel bad for everyone we said are not good builders and therefore are excluded.

I'm sorry that you feel that way but it would be unfair on everyone to change it.

Community contests are smaller of course, so it might be more fun for people who just started Minecraft. If you can't find anything you like, you could ever try to host a contest yourself :).

For official PMC contests I personally don't really want the rules excluding certain people from entering.

As it is right now, every person who enters has equal opportunity to win. Contests prizes are for people who win legitimately, not because we separated them into a contest with worse contestants because they were mad they weren't winning against other people who put out better content. You aren't born good. You get good because you practice a lot and learn what works and what doesn't. The answer isn't splitting content creators, it's about getting better so you can beat the competition.
