Can't PM members with underscores in their names
When I'm making a new PM to be sent to multiple people and I use the search bar to add someone with underscores in their name, PMC can't find them. I used to be able to get around it by addressing the PM to whoever had the underscore and then adding everyone else in with the aforementioned search bar, but this time I'm trying to PM two people with underscores, and PMC is refusing to comply. Halp pls.
set status to Closed, set resolution to Finished. Fixed for most cases, however the double __ in Vincent__1987 still won't come up until you type both _'s We can at least PM him & now easily find others with _'s in their names.
Can you provide images? I'm trying to replicate this myself, but I do not even see a suggestion list popping up. I am using a regular member account for this.
I think it's acting as if the underscore isn't there at all. That is, when I type in Vincent_1987, it's looking for someone named Vincent1987 and thus can't find anybody. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
Oh, I'm not seeing a plus at all. It lets me type whatever in the box and the suggestions come up like normal; however, anyone with an underscore in their name never shows up, even if I type their name in character for character.
I've had this issue a few times also, especially if the underscore is in the middle of the person's username. As I remember, it worked fine if the underscore was at the back of the username though.
Yeah, I was trying to PM a friend with an underscore in the middle of his name, didn't work. Second time, the guy had an underscore at the beginning and another at the end - didn't work either.
