So, this is kind of a design flaw of contenteditable, the browser feature Tiny uses for the text editor. There's no easy way for the browser to really deduce if you still want to type in the link or not, and without any content after the link there's no easy way to break out of it.

The main way to "fix" this is to only use Insert Link after leaving a space at the end of the text that you don't want to be part of the link (ie, "I am typing things here ", then select from the I to the last e without including the space at the end). This way, when you click the end of the text, you'll select the space and not the link, and break out of the anchor.

In my browser, directly after using Insert Link, if I press space it breaks out of the anchor. Might be the same for you?

I see how that would be seriously annoying. I'm trying to reproduce the issue but can't seem to do it. However, if that happens again, I think you can use the right arrow key to get out of the link. Hope that helps.

If you can tell me how to reproduce the issue and I can reproduce it, we might be able to prevent it from happening in the first place.
