Is it possible to remove already-existing mobs/block in Minecraft?
If so, how and which one: in mods or datapacks or both?

wdym remove? Like remove their code or just make them not spawn in the world?

You can remove mobs by just /TPing them into the void every tick

You can modify it with the aid of modsDatapacks only change existing item/block, and can't remove them

Defiantly with mods and it depends on the block/mob with data packs. With data packs you can disable a mob from spawning naturally or a block from generating in world gen and disable some crafting recipes. What are you planning on removing?

its a .cfg file i believe but i dont know how you can add that to a mod
