Personal Update:
Hey everyone! Hope you're having a great July. The team and I finished up our newest update! It's focused on the swamp that was previously incomplete, as well as expanding out into the ocean south of Atlas city. Hey everyone! Hope you're having a great July. The team and I finished up our newest update! It's focused on the swamp that was previously incomplete, as well as expanding out into the ocean south of Atlas city. Please let us know if you run into any issues in the Discord linked in the map's description!
Major Changes:
- Completed the Olympus Swamp.
- Expanded the ocean on the south western side of the map.
- The players have asked, and a prison has been added to the map!
- Added Farefallen Docks.
- Added a long suspension bridge.
- Added a custom fishing loot table, go see what you can fish up!
- Added an oil rig in the ocean.
- Added the Niyol Mine south west of the desert basin. Descend into the depths if you dare.
- Moved the Minecraft version up to 1.18.2.
- Added more guns to the map.
- Sector F in Atlas Labs has been completed. Be careful not to press any buttons!
- Added the Emerald Embezzlers and their home.
- Moved the sunken Evac Boat Delta near the suspension bridge.
- The Amora Yacht has drifted out to sea…
- Added a couple more custom crafting items. Find them in the survival notes.
- You are now able to get more copies of the survival notes in the Settings Room.
- Added usable medkits.
- Added more billboards around the map.
- Removed the Atlas Labs boss (T-Subject 1028)
- Mining Emerald Ore now drops Uranium.
- Added internet articles sprinkled around the world. AIlie the AI will be happy to read them out to you!
- Fixed a typo on the signs directing people how to enter the Lucky 38.
- Fixed an issue where General Doug would not stay spawned if you ran away from him.
- Salvage’s Army Echo Division spawning has been modified.
- Changed the eye patch dropped by Captain Edward from a polished blackstone button to black dye.
- Replaced old bullets not used for the guns in the aircraft carrier to usable ones now.
- Added loot to the empty chests in Atlas.
- The “I need a gas mask" message that is meant to play in Atlas has been fixed.
- Optimized the brewery. Throwing ingredients and recipe books are now separate and you will now get unused items back for making brews.
- Fixed an issue with the thirst mechanic.
- Fixed an issue where the Zombie Chestplate and Crown of Envy in the Ruins were not craftable.
- Nerfed the RadAway and StimPacks found in the Red Rocket.
- Fixed an issue with the Ruin advancements.
- Fixed the subway power issue for the final time.

Could be many cases, could be internet/wifi connection cuts out during download, you don't have enough space on your device, don't have a way to read the .zip folders, etc.
How big is the map? Does it have a border or something that indicates that it can no longer continue?
For the borders, yes most of the map has large mountains on the borders that genuinely stop at the edge of them, plummeting off into normal Minecraft terrain or something that is not the actual map. For the south western section of the map it's harder to tell because it's ocean but the ocean does eventually end and such. We also have an overhead map pinned in our Discord server which shows the borders of the map very easily.
In terms of making it for modded mobs to spawn by the spawners you'd need to do those changes yourself via putting the modded mob spawn egg in the spawner or by finding a way to select an area with spawners and change them.
For the initial way of disabling so zombies can only spawn by spawners, you COULD turn on natural mob spawning, but that'll make it so ALL hostile mobs spawn and exist. Using a mod like Bad Mobs could be used but it's not the most recommended because you could break some sections of the map by not having mobs used spawn (like we use not just zombies, we use pillagers, skeletons, witches, spiders, etc.) that if blacklisted from spawning will make things unable to be continued, loot unable to be acquired, and generally just be confusing when a boss doesn't spawn.
While in the Bad Mobs config I do know that if you only disable their natural spawning and let them spawn via commandblocks and such that it'll work fine but I don't know how to do that so you'd need to investigate that yourself.
