The Shops at Eagle Point
Greenfield City Mall is located on Eagle Island and is the Anchor for the Eagle Island Shopping District. The Mall is actually a complex of buildings that started with the Drecel Building and Mall in the 1960s, but was expanded to retail space across the street and in the first 3 floors of the Delumas Building in the 80s. In the 90s a brand new theater was built inside the shell of the long abandoned Woolstine building, and a whole block of historic buildings was torn down to build a new parking garage. The property next door to the mall was home to the Marshalls Store for over 50 years before it went out of buisness in 2003. It sat vacant until 2012 when it was torn down and built into the Mall Pramanade. The Pramanade Connected the east river, original mall building, Movie theater, parking garage, and Central Park through a series of over road walkways. It is also home to one one two Eaglepoint Condos.
