Featherlight Texture Pack (64x)
Light & realistic!

Featherlight is a 64x64 texture pack designed to be appealing to the eye, simple and brightly lit but fairly photo-realistic. EVERY piece of art (bar the paintings) is original, not stolen or reused. Any actual photographs used as a texture base are copyright-, restriction- and royalty-free, taken from websites that host these images specifically for such use (check out sxc.hu!). This texture pack is a full conversion: items, armor, most creatures, UI--all is new.

Featherlight now supports Randommobs! Also, if there's a mob skin you don't like (i.e. if you prefer a pink pig, or white chicken) just rename the mob of your choice--say, pig5, or chicken2 (all in the "mob" folder of the pack), to pig.png or chicken.png.

* If you want to use some of my textures in another pack, PLEASE message me first. I am not okay with my images being used without permission or credit, as I have worked very hard on each one of them. That said, I will be perfectly happy to help you out if you want to use a few--just message me with your request, please. Do not use or upload my textures elsewhere without my permission. *

Current to-do list includes many creatures, including the Ender Dragon, Villagers, Squids & Pigmen. Also, Spider eyes currently do not display properly, glowing orange rather than green (this was a mistake introduced when I implemented Randommobs support).

Additional Notes

* Featherlight: Basic Wool *

The Light Green (lime), Dark Grey, Magenta and Light Blue wool blocks are Tudor (fachwerk, or half-beam)-style house-building-blocks rather than colored wool. In addition, several other wool blocks are altered in color (yellow = light cream) or changed into stylized, tiled designs. If people prefer the standard wool block colors, they should download the Basic Wool version instead; the link to this can be found in the official forum post linked above!
