I'd like to edit the pack slightly to suit my own purposes, as I personally feel that the fireflies don't last long enough for me, I'd like them to hang in the air for just a bit longer. How do I edit this? I assume it's an animation time/frame thing, but I don't know which json file to edit, or how.



Additionally, I'm just curious if there is a way to specify that the firefly textures only be used at night, or at a specific light level. I want to say Optifine had some method of doing that at some point, but I am not sure how. Is that something you have looked into at any point, or plan to?



Great pack, by the way, and a very unique way of implementation.

yeah, sorry about the late response, all you need to do is go into the textures folder in the pack and edit the .mcmeta files. inside you'll see "frametime". simply to make the frames go faster, reduce the value. if you want it slower, make it a higher value

if there ever will be a solution to prevent fireflies from showing during the day, I will look into it

Also, do you have a good reccomendation for a place to get optifine?
I have been having a lot of trouble getting it.

Hello, just tried this out today and unfortunately it isn't working for me, the fireflies do not show up at all. I've tried troubleshooting a little with no success, do you have any suggestions? I have the pack installed with optifine and complementary shaders. EDIT: I'm on version 1.20.4

ahh, now I see why it's not working. I'll put out an update fixing this shortly, thank you for telling me this. someone else asked about this problem, but I couldn't figure it out until now

Hey, just downloaded this today, and I can't get it to work for some reason. Playing with optifine and the complementary unbound shader pack. Everything seems to work fine except for the fireflies. Any advice or tips?
