A Realistic Grass resourcepack like from a popular Quasar video you may have seen for low end PC. This is the most satisfying thing minecraft should add. Optifine is not required. However, it is better with shaders. Some shaders (f-ex SEUS-Renewed) have support for waviness!

Can you change the dirt and grass block textures to match vanilla but keep the realistic grass it looks better that way

The dirt block comes out gray for me. Is that meant to happen? It's not consistent with the color of the dirt in the grass block.

I do not think it is compatible with my shaderpack, or maybe it is because I use Fabric & Iris & not forge.
Both 128x128 & 1024x1024 have the black bits. (Screenshots below are 128x128, my PC can barely handle those).
