I'm not sure if I'm in that magical spot where I can rant freely, but this has been iffing me a bit.
Bad Reviews
I've come across tons of 'em. Lots are advertisements, others need a lesson in grammar, and still more need detail. Here are some of the main things I've seen:
Bad Grammar
First things first, we all make mistakes. I'm not going to rant on and on because you missed a single comma or spelled some uber-long word wrong. I do it sometimes. But what I see on some blogs in general are:
gr8 stery i want diamonds plz oh also gr8 sarver

That, my friends, is what does iff me. Please, if you are going to make a blog of any type, if you know you don't know how to spell something, look it up.  The 5 minutes spent could get you that many more diamonds. Also, these are blogs, not a number-speak fourm game. That is seriously what I see it as. One guy posting on a fourm saying, "H4y l3ts $peak w1th #!" and then everybody thought it made them look cool and wanted to put them in everything they typed.
It makes you look like a noob.
So in conclusion, just, like, look it up if you aren't sure.

Vauge Review
This is probably the worst. I have seen a dozen reviews that simply say, "It was gud. Nice survival." which leaves me screaming for more info. What was "gud"? What was so nice about the Survival? I really want descriptions about every single aspect of the server to see if I would like to waste my time there. Were the staff helpful, did the players there want to come back? Did they have any unique or self-developed games there(MineZ on the shotbow network would be "self developed")? Was the spawn lazy or elgant? All of these things matter. If I see a review that says the spawn is lazy and the creative stinks I might not go there, but if thy added in that tey have creative minigames I might think that I could live wth the other things.

This is the most common so far. These people couldn't read the "review" part of server review. lf you want to get your server known and visited, look over there! It's a shiny section called "Servers". If you need to avertise, You can do it in the chat every fifteen minutes (says the rules, I checked!) or use a fancy sig on the fourms. This is a short section because there really is't too much to say.


So, all in all, give the review lots of detail and check the spelling. So now all I need to do is write a review!
