“Luckily, I still have Zane’s blueprints from when he made his titanium form. That on top of Pixal transferring his consciousness to the main computer here. It should be easy to have a new body built for him.” Cyrus Borg said.
“He’s already in the computer?” Cole asked.
“But of course. I don’t normally do this. Yet with how fragile he is I didn’t want to accidentally damage his consciousness… in a sense. Plus, who else would Zane be talking to?”

Cole looked towards the main computer and noticed Zane with Tai-D talking to a digital version of Echo Zane. Cyrus Borg rolled over and explained their plan to the trio.
“I don’t want to be titanium. I already got confused for my brother without being titanium.” Echo Zane said.
“I agree, it could become confusing. Is there an alternative material we could use?” Zane asked.

Cyrus Borg thought for a moment before responding:
“Perhaps we could use red metals instead. It might work.”
“Red metals?” Cole asked.
“Yes, such as copper, brass and bronze. One of them could work.”
“Is there a better one to use?”
“Let me think about that for a moment… Hmm, Brass is too malleable. Bronze has resistance to saltwater corrosion. Though I have a feeling he's not much of a swimmer."
“So, copper?”
“Copper could work. It has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity and is resistant to many forms of damage. Yet there’s one problem.”
“What?”
“If the copper is oxidized, he'll change colour. I suppose it's not a problem. It's up to him."

Everyone turned to the main computer and stared at Echo Zane expectantly. Echo Zane looked at his brother and asked:
“What would you choose?”
"Based on the information provided copper seems like a better option, but you'd turn green over time. Is that something you want?” Zane asked.
"Not really. I want to look the way I do now. Just without the rust and falling apart all the time."
“I’m not sure if there is a way to prevent the copper from oxidizing.”

At this, Cyrus began thinking before exclaiming:
"There may be a solution! We could see about adding a clear coat so the copper doesn't oxidize. I'd have to look into it more, but it may be possible if you'd like to have something similar to your current colour."
“Yes, please. I’d like that.” Echo said.
“Wonderful I’ll get to work and see what I can find. In the meantime, Pixal transfer Echo back to his body and I’ll contact you.”

As Cyrus left to return to Borg Tower, everyone thanked him for coming and then turned their attention to Pixal. She was transferring Echo Zane back to his body while Tai-D was repairing him temporarily.
“I believe that should be it. Echo, could you please try standing up.” Pixal instructed.
Echo stood up and was greeted with more parts falling out from his chest.
“You're able to stand so that should be enough for now. Let me check if we have a metal board to prevent more pieces from falling out.”

Pixal turned around to notice Mini Pix holding a titanium plate.
“Yes. This should do for now.” Pixal said.

As Pixal attached the plate, she explained that it should only be a few hours before the new body is made and should just stay here until they get a call from Cyrus Borg.

Cyrus Borg made his way up to his office and got the work. Quickly pulling up Zane’s blueprints and making sure he had all the materials needed to build the body. Once he ensured he had everything, Cyrus began typing the commands to have the body made in the factory.
“There, that should do it.” Cyrus Borg said out loud.

As Cyrus Borg was about to go to the factory to ensure there weren’t any issues, the elevator opened in front of him to reveal Jay and Nya.
"Sorry for the intrusion Mr. Borg, but Jay & I wanted to speak to you,” Nya said.
"Uhm of course, I was just on my way down to the factory. You two can join me if you'd like?" Cyrus Borg replied.

Cyrus Borg entered the elevator and turned his wheelchair to face Jay and Nya.
“We just wanted to know how things are with Echo,” Nya said.
"I figured as much. He'll be fine, but I don't believe Zane wants me to tell you everything."
“We know.”
"I've never seen him this upset before, but I have a feeling you two didn't just come here to ask how it's going."
“No. We wanted to ask if we could help with anything. Building, cost you name it.”
“I do need to get a clear coat for copper. If you’d like to purchase those. Yet, you can’t buy forgiveness. “
“We’re just trying to help fix our mistake, not buy our forgiveness.”
“I hope so. You two are lucky I have the materials to rebuild him. Echo Zane would not have a chance if I didn’t.”

When Jay and Nya gave no reply, Cyrus Borg opened his phone and showed them a picture of a can of clear coat paint.
“We should only need one of these. Make sure you get the one designed for copper. On the can it should mention it protects high-use metal surfaces from oxidation. Or something among those words.” Cyrus Borg said.

Jay and Nya both nodded then got off at the main floor, leaving to get the can of paint. Cyrus Borg watched as the elevator closed, leaving just him inside. When the elevator door opened once more, it revealed the factory machines at work. Cyrus watched as two copper hands were carried from one conveyor belt to another. Satisfied with the progress, he sent a text to Pixal letting her know to bring Echo Zane over in four hours.

Thirty minutes later, Cyrus Borg heard the elevator open behind him. As expected, Jay and Nya were there with the can of clear coat paint.
“We got the can, Mr. Borg. Anything else we can do?” Nya asked.
“Not really. If you could put the can here, the machines should take care of the rest.”

As the body was built Cyrus Borg gave it a good review ensuring there were no defects or dents in the construction. Once he was sure there were no visual defects, he plugged the body into a nearby computer.
“What are you doing?” Jay asked.
“Putting a simple coding chip inside. Just to ensure there’s no issues internally.” Cyrus Borg replied.

As if on queue, the body of Echo Zane sat up and began walking around the room. The body picked up the empty paint can and brought it back to Cyrus Borg. Once the task was complete, it returned to the table and laid back down.
“Perfect! I’ll contact Pixal. Echo Zane’s new body is ready.” Cyrus Borg said.

Cyrus Borg instructed Jay and Nya to transport Echo’s Zane’s body, while he went to greet everyone. As he entered the main area, he noticed Zane, Echo Zane, Tai-D and Pixal all waiting for him.
“I have it brought to our office. Right this way everyone.” Cyrus Borg said.
“Thank you,” Zane said.
“No thanks are necessary. I’m just happy to help. Plus, I can’t wait for you to see your new body Echo.”

At this, Echo Zane smiled. As the group were in the elevator, they all proposed on what they should do once Echo Zane gets his new body. Zane was smiling at all the ideas. However, his smile faded when he looked over at Echo Zane who seemed horrified.
“Is there something troubling you?” Zane whispered to Echo Zane.
“Where will I go when I get my new body? Will you send us back to the lighthouse?”
“You can go back to the lighthouse if you want, but you can stay with us.”
“I want to stay, but what will I do?”

When Zane wasn’t too sure what to say, Pixal interjected as she already come up with a suggestion:
“You could help us protect the city? Zane and I could teach you.”
Echo Zane thought about it for a moment before shaking his head and saying:
“I’m not much of a fighter, and I don't want to be. I like to clean with Tai-D.”
“Hmm… I have an idea.”

Just as Echo Zane was about to ask what, the elevator door opened to reveal Jay and Nya waiting for them.
"May I ask what are you two doing here?" Zane asked.
“We… uh-” Jay stumbled.
“They were assisting me, Zane.” Cyrus Borg said as he made his way to his computer.

Zane said nothing but continued to assist Echo Zane while shoving past Jay and Nya. Zane and Pixal helped Echo Zane onto a table and plugged him into the computer.
“Alright, this should just be a moment everyone,” Cyrus Borg said.

As Cyrus Borg was typing away at a computer, Zane sat in a chair with Tai-D in his lap waiting patiently. The two started catching up on what the other had been up to during that time. Their conversation was interrupted by someone he didn’t want to speak to.
“Zane, can we talk to you?” Jay asked.
Zane's eyebrows furrowed, and glared at Jay and Nya.
“I know we messed up but we really didn’t mean for Echo to end up like this, we didn’t-”
“You didn’t want to tell me about my brother. You two left Tai-D and him to rust away and only went to the lighthouse when it suited you. Is there something else I missed?”
“There is…”
“What?”
“We’re sorry Zane.” Jay and Nya said in unison.

Zane looked over at his brother’s rusted body then back at Jay and Nya.
“It’s not just me you should be apologizing too.”
