i found it really underwhelming it adds a couple cool features but without the world generation all the new stuff doesn't entirely feel right.
Theres the official datapack which adds the cave biomes in the end of the official changelog
You also have to account for how they're changing virtually the entire cave generation and a lot of how hills/mountains form. This is basically 1.13 again but with world generation
