What's been the Game of the Year for you in 2016?

Anyway, since it's almost October, I figured now would be a good time to ask you guys what has been your Game of the Year, for 2016.
I pick Stardew Valley. By far one of the best indie games I've ever played.

Was Hyper Light Drifter this year? Then that. Or Monster Hunter Generations.

There hasn't really been that many games that were announced let alone released that caught my eye. I'm gonna say Sonic 3 and Knuckles, but 2017 might change if Sonic Mania is really good, which is likely because its being made by the same company who ported the classics.
I know it's not out yet, but the beta was awesome. Battlefield 1.
Ark Survival Evolved.. but if it has to be from this year actually... i don't think i have played any games from this year... im so poor >.<

Yeah, there's only one non-Pokemon game I've put over 172 hours into this year, and that would be Stardew Valley. It was phenomenal. A true 5/7 masterpiece.
Gonna pick the same as AnimeFanFTW and say Stardew Valley. It's super cute and fun. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Autumn is super pretty and has great music!

But uhh, I've only played one game actually released this year, so I guess I'd say Rabi-Ribi. Best 2016 game I've played this year. It's a metroidvania, but it's mixed with bullet hell mechanics, and rabbit girls.
